I jumped on the schalke bandwagon in 2015. I did a week long football trip to 5 clubs in 7 days - tagged along with a few schalke fans from gillingham. Had a great time got drunk and schalke beat gladbach 1-0. Don't remember getting home much but all the schalke fan I met made me feel really welcome - shoutout to guys at auf schalke bar near the ground.

My Schalke story. I was brought up in Gelsenkirchen and my mother milk was blue and white. ‘Nuff said. 🤣 Father and brother were Schalke fans, though no regular stadion goers. I remember as a small child having family walks around Parkstadion. First match 1977 against Cologne. Friends and schoolmates were mainly Schalke supporters, except one black and yellow sheep. Magic moments in the 80s in both divisions, 6:6 the most notable one of course. First season ticket and membership in 1991. Fast forward, moved to the UK in 2008, joined Schalke UK afterwards. Now back on the …

In my case it been easy either Schalke or Dortmund... So naturally I chose Schalke. My dad is BVB fan and took me to a Dortmund Schalke game in the late 1970s or early 1980s can't really recall. Schalke sadly lost 2:1 and I cried on my way back home.

My Schalke story . . . My first visit to the Veltins Arena was back in 2007. My family lived in Guetersloh and wanted to support a German football team and Shane suggested Schalke 04. Jacob was just 7 years old at his first match. He is now 26. We immediately fell in love with the Royal Blues and the atmosphere at the matches. You know what they say “Einmal Schalke, immer Schalke” 💙 In our first season Schalke were playing in the Champions League and from our seats in the family block we cheered on our team against opponents …

I live around 350km away from Schalke and other teams would have been much more obvious for me. When I was around 4 years old, my cousin Karin had a jacket with a Schalke patch (she'd got it as a present from someone). From then on, my aunt Christa (a little bit older than me, but younger than Karin) and me decided that we are Schalke fans from now on, as we looked up to Karin. We've been Schalkers ever since. Klaus Fischer has helped a bit, too 😃 Funny thing is: Karin has never been interested in football at …

Bericht Schalker Kreisel 12.03.2010
